Many South Americans do not know that their views are Humanist. The author of
Links this introduction did not realise he was a Humanist for too long. Gobeithio is espe-
cially concerned with Environmental Humanism - in fact, we are creating it!

valid economic option Humanism is a worldwide movement, of which there are many examples. Some of
these can be found in the Humanism section of the links page. Guyana is a unique

who understand and believe in Gobeithio as a way forward for the people of Guyana, whilst develop-
ing this website as an expression of where we intend to go. Please see the Fragments link, which will

                    Encouraging

Marc Carl (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marc_Carl), of French Humanist Ecology group Gaia Mater
(http://www.gaiamater.org/), has been encouraging in his support of Gobeithio. This organisation draws on the
Latin tradition of international humanism, emphasising transparency and tolerance. We look forward to being in a
position where we can pursue projects in partnership with Gaia Mater international Network.

David Seaborg (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Seaborg), Director of the World Rainforest Fund has
also made a supporting statement: "I endorse the work of Gobeithio and their goals."
